WEEK 5 Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. [ She smiles at that, just as genuine back. But then, when isn't something Elda Marker does genuine? For better or worse, she's very direct. And in this instance, it sees her patting...

[Sayaka just--Sayaka beams, so bright and happy and she just--

She takes both of Elda's hands with the biggest grin on her face.]

It was wonderful, Mom, just wonderful! She--I think she tried to tell me on Monday but just lost her nerve, but Tuesday, she came by the art room while I was jotting down all of my memories. I thought she was coming by to do what I was doing, but she said she was looking for me and wanted to talk to me, and I let her.

She told me she'd been thinking about it for nights...the incentive was the reason why, but it just--it felt so sweet, even if it was a 'now or never decision'? I...I couldn't believe it for a bit, that a girl as amazing and wonderful as her, could like me...? Of all people here, she...

[She grips a bit tighter, though.]

...She means the world to me. She means so much, and I...I told her that, too...ehehe! I had to wonder for a little while if I was just dense, because she said she wasn't subtle, but it was just...it was amazing, I hugged her so tight and kissed her on the cheek again, and I just wanted to let my mind wander to every wonderful thing we could do together. I asked her about it, and...

[Sayaka giggles, so, so brightly.]

Well, we don't have any movies, and we were already kind of clinging, so...w-we kissed. [She seems to giggle at that even more, just kind of bubbly and bright and like it's the best thing.] We kissed, and it...it was so nice? I've...never felt so warm from my chest before, and it was...it was so lovely...

[matchbreaker]

[ Good for her, honestly. Because that at least means that she knows what love is.

Elda's smile is a bit more nostalgic, wondering if she sounded like this about James? Of course she did, but she is also genuinely proud, genuinely happy to see- the- her girl looking this way. The vampire allows her hands to be held, letting Sayaka move excitedly through every detail.

A kiss?

Well, damn, girl. She nods along, and - ]

I'm glad to hear it, honestly. Like I said, about time you got what was coming for you.

[She practically wants to scream about her, just kind of bouncing in place and smiling like a goddamn idiot.]

[ She laughs, throwing back her head for an old lady laugh, but this one is... perhaps a little bit more girlish. She's caught up in it. ]
