WEEK 5.
Tabitha Smith, Sigrun Eide, and Solf J Kimblee are all dead. Regardless of what you think of the trial or the events leading up to it, there's no denying that you can feel the dent in your numbers now. After all, ten people are gone now. It may be hard, but all you can do is keep going. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... What with Jericho's excitement at the last trial, it's evident now more than ever that the new floor that's opened up to you is a gift, a reward for a job well-done. Because while surviving is something that you'll continue to try to do of your own merit...well. Let's say that he's so, so very proud of you. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 23 |

[ He smiles, but it's more subtle than his usual one. ]
Depends how bad you screw up, you might not have to.
no subject
Alright... Well, then, time to make horse attempt numero uno...and hopefully the only one. ...If I screw it up super-bad, uh... maybe it can be a seahorse. Yeah, I'll start on the back.
no subject
So why do you hate repetition, icepop? Got to do with that closed space of yours?
[ That one you want to blow up. ]
no subject
Uh... Yeah, it's got everything to do with that, actually.
no subject
I know a lot about crap like that, you should share.
no subject
...It's like... Okay, so there's a lot I still don't know about it. But...during World War II, this submarine, the Kanaloa, got destroyed by friendly fire right off the coast of this island. And, well...there was something radioactive in the sub's belly, and it kind of...created this pocket dimension where the island is.
The crew became these...these ghosts, slightly out of time, and I...accidentally contacted them when I was visiting the island once. It...pulled me and my friends who were with me in.
no subject
And after that? Is that where you were before here? Trapped in that pocket dimension?
no subject
Just me and...the people who were on that ship. I got my friends out, but...it seems I'm...kind of stuck there, in this never-ending loop.
no subject
Ah, it's such a pain isn't it? Repeating things over and over, and over and over, and over. Almost makes this whole shitshow a vacation, huh?

They have a way of doing that, of pulling you back in no matter much hell you raise.
[ A beat. ]
But if you play your cards right? You can fucking destroy it for good when all the variables align in your favor. After that though... that might be the hardest part.
[ This makes little sense now, but it probably will after trial. Because that's the exact situation he's found himself in, when you've finally achieved freedom—at what cost? For him it's his sense of self, which makes everything damn worthless.
Not that Terumi was ever really opposed to burning everything, but he really did have nothing to lose. ]

But for now, Alex just gives him a quizzical stare, frowning gentle. ]
Huh...?

What even happened in this thread. ]
no subject
Uh...yeah, sure. Definitely.
[ ...She probably won't finish it until Friday night, ironically. ]

One last thing: You fuck up and need to cut the legs off? See what you can do with it, might be able to make something else like wings or some crap for your next one. Use what you're dealt, even if it's shit.
[ Actual advice you can maybe use. ]
no subject
I'll keep that in mind for...carving two, whatever it is. Maybe that could be a knife.
no subject
this is how it starts. ]Oh? [ A beat. ]
If that's what your plan is, I'll have to show you how to make a good one.
[ It's a lie, regardless of what happens in a few days. But he could have not said anything, so take that as you will, especially because Terumi doesn't like lying. ]
no subject
That'd be...pretty cool. Thanks. I'd have to make it good, in honor of my teacher, after all.
no subject
[ He has complicated feelings about receiving things, but he kind of walked into that one. ]
no subject
[ ...now she's just being a little shit. ]
no subject
You're a freakin' brat, icepop.
