WEEK 6.

WEEK 6 You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 19

By the way, Yuri, what kind of dream did you have? I had a rather nice one-- one that confirmed what you said a couple of weeks ago.

[ If Raven could get his head out of his ass and break free, then anyone could change. ]

It'd be pretty damn hard, but if anyone wanting to change for the better kept going at it, they can eventually make it happen. Most of it's all in the mind, so anyone trying to do that sort of thing would have to also really believe they could do it, y'know?

I don't think anyone is not uneasy by this. For ourselves, it's one thing, but knowing our loved ones-- [In Estelle's case it's even more people considering she has Yuri here.] --could potentially be in the same situation as us? I... I don't even want to think about it!

[Sayaka's got...so many goddamn mixers out right now, good god--fruit flavored ones, mostly, but anything that looks sweet enough to kill a man is out and being mixed with anything she can get her hands on. At this point she doesn't care--she figures Jericho or Hilda will come clean it up, if worst comes to worst.

Sayaka eventually looks up after a bit of mixing, startling a bit.]

Oh--ah--hey, Milla-san. Sorry, am I in your way...?

Knowing Flynn, he'd probably try to keep everyone's spirits up or something.

[ ... ]

Also he's kinda a goody-two shoes.

[ So. Y'know. ]

[ Yes, good.

If they're going at the same time they might even get into another sparring match!! ]

...I'm glad that you didn't lose it. You really are such a passionate person, about everything I've seen...maybe you can write a good story about her, when we all get out of here.

[Estelle said she was into that, after all. Maybe some new legends will be born, from whatever happens to her world...]

[He figures Sayaka might have appreciated the guitar as well.]

[ It certainly is, and as Yuri is taking it in he's not going to say it isn't wrong. A lot of things were too murky about that situation for his liking. In the end, it's obvious who was considered disposable here and well. Whatever. ]

Yeah, I wonder what the hell's up with him. Maybe he has sight problems or something.

[ ... ]

I'd like to know that too--plus kind of why she was even trying to do what she was doing without telling anybody. She seemed to think it was important enough to try anyway.

My work is important-- so I have continued each day thinking that I must continue to do what is necessary to survive.

[There's no joy in saying that though. The usual pride in her position is buried beneath something else.]

Even so... I will not lie and say that a small part of me does not wish that my life was my own to give, if I could protect Jude and those important to the rest of you.

[It was curiosity more than anything that drew her a little closer. She feels bad for startling the other girl.]

Mm. I guess I knew before I asked; you're not the type who would leave someone like that behind when you escaped, unless they were terrible to you.

It's a common question, isn't it? [Rin's eyes remain on the secret wall as she initially speaks, before shifting her gaze to Alex.] In hindsight, I'm surprised it wasn't on the sample questions list for that speed dating party.

...If there's something I can try to make for you, let me know. Okay? I can't do much, but I've seen a few of the others make drinks.

[She doesn't...actually mind Milla coming over--feel free to sit if you want, girl, she's just messing around here.]

I couldn't begin to tell you what to make. This is the first time I've ever attempted it myself.

[First time drinker and all. That said she does feel like she can sit a little closer to her.]

So... if there's anything you want me to try, I can do that.

[Right now she's not. Picky.]

Sure is, 'till we get the chance to thrash around a certain someone.

Once again, it's no problem. Just saying what I thought needed being said and that you pretty much deserved the effort.

I'm planing on heading down to the dojo too, probably after grabbing something to eat. If you're still hanging around, maybe you can show me how much you've improved.

Yeah just go ahead and buy it. Though you have some starting money, you're not gonna wanna squander it all.

Mine was just reuniting with everyone after Duke saved my ass. I'm glad you finally had a dream that confirmed what I said, though I figured it was due to come eventually. Anyway, what exactly happened in yours?

[ He has a feeling he knows what but it's good to chat over a game--especially when they're good dreams. ]

[...Sayaka smiles, then, starting with something sweeter--pina colatas are easy enough to make, though Sayaka goes a little lighter on the rum than the rest of the stuff to start with, passing it over.]

...I'd like that, actually. Wanna meet me there in a while? I don't know if I plan to leave my room too much today, but...well, hopefully those 'changes' Jericho won't put too much of a damper on any plans.

[She takes the drink with a grateful nod before looking back down at the drink. Smelling it... it has a nice scent, overall. After a moment of staring at it she takes a slow sip. There's a very light tingling, burning sensation in her throat that would be more fascinating if she was doing this for better reasons.]

It has a nice flavor.

I'm glad you like it, Milla-san. It's a Pina Colata!

[Sayaka's happy with that much, but...she's getting a closer look at Milla's face while she watches her drink, and her own shifts to one of concern.]

...Seems like you need it tonight, huh?

I suppose it was only a matter of time. We have all had different threats that have hit closer to home than others.

[She has always been honest... she does not want to change that now, even if it is not pleasant to admit her weaknesses. ]

Facing this threat... is not easy for me.

I've had an alright memory. I don't mind taking care of things for people who haven't? It's what we're going to need to do here.

I don't think it's real. Unless you're five and play ten instruments, but then it's just a little weird.

I think they say the violin is hard, though. You'd probably be better off starting with something else.
