Week 7.

WEEK 7 Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you. Over half of you are gone now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 16

At first, he's listening to her 'scolding', and then he just watches her add to the mess. Excellent. ]

Yeah, we can't be blamed if some of the books just happen to y'know, fall over whenever we're even trying to put some of them back.

[ He'll just. Continue to knock over a few more too while he's at it. ]

Looks like my hand just slipped again. At this rate we're going to need to place the job of someone cleaning this all up in the hands of someone else, huh?

[Gaze upon the wicked troublemakers of Graceside and despair, Coordinators. This isn't against the rules and y'all can go to hell.]

Right? Honestly, I'd say that we can't be blamed for their poor choices. It's simply not fair...

[Sayaka continues to make a mess of her own, just smirking like hell in the process. This is rebellious as hell, and she's having fun!]

Absolutely! You know, though...maybe we'll be doing them a favor, getting all of these shelves cleaned up. I mean, it's not our fault that they're just clearly too unstable for us to get these back into...

[ What are rules, can you eat them.

Yuri even just knocks over some more books just because we're just at this point today apparently, and you gotta go the full mile here. Hopefully no one else planned on using the library today because it's about to be a mess.

...Not that anyone would be able to use the books for anything, really, given the language barrier. But anyway. ]

Hey, maybe they'll do a better job and even replace the entire shelves once they realize how crappy they've been set up.

[Rules are not rules until they're written on the rule plaques, as far as Sayaka is concerned. And if Hilda really likes books as much as Alena says she does, this is gonna be such a nice way to spite her as far as Sayaka's concerned.

Sayaka's just plain being careless, at this point--the shelves are being cleared out at an alarming rate, and she's practically hamming up her reaction to the 'horrible shelving' each and every time. Honestly, this is the most hilarious part of all of this.]

I'd certainly hope so! Even if we can't read these books, I imagine they must take so much pride in them. They should really appreciate the fact that we're taking off one step of the process for them.

[Sayaka laughs, completely full of mirth.]

[ Yuri also does the honor of tipping over any chairs that might be in the room, so there's that too. Why not just leave a big pile of a mess here? Goodness, if anyone walked by during any of this they'd probably have shaken their heads at this nonsense. Or agreed with it. That too. ]

Oh yeah, they really should.

[ He goes to stand on a pile of books from one of the shelves they've undoubtedly cleaned out from their combined efforts. Sayaka is truly a good partner in pranks. ]

Look at that, everything's looking better already. Wouldn't you agree?

[They are just super high school level mischief makers today, aren't they? Well, Sayaka's happy with that much. She hears Yuri tip over the chairs while she pulls out more books, practically jittering with glee before she turns around and faces him.]

Oh, it looks amazing in here! Honestly, I've never seen a room look as good as this before...but maybe it's just because we did it ourselves!

[Sayaka practically bounces a bit before holding out her hand for a high five? They totally deserve it at this point. They did great, look at all of this destruction they won't take responsibility for.]

Honestly...I've never had the chance to do something like this before? It's the most fun I've had in a little while, even if it's just out of the goodness of our hearts.

[...she usually has to keep a clean reputation, she's never been on a prank run before, this is fun.]

[ They really are--the real Super High School Level Prankster would be impressed/approve, clearly. ]

Guess that makes us better designers for rooms--not that it was hard to be in the first place. Maybe if we're lucky enough they'll add more variety to the books in here.

[ Not that he cares because he doesn't read all that much since it's usually boring but shh!!

Also he's definitely going to be returning that highfive! Hell yeah. ]

I'm so used to...well, I've never really been one to take interior design into my own hands. This? This has to be the best way to get it done.

[...She is basically trying not to be too giggly--she wants to take this somewhat seriously, damn it!]

I certainly hope they do, though! Who knows? Maybe they'll just redesign the room entirely, to make it into something we can actually use. The room's big enough that you could make anything out of it...

Yeah, me neither. Before I came here, anyway. So I think I'm gonna to have to agree.

[ Because he couldn't be bothered, actually. What is taking any of this seriously, we just don't know--he's certainly not doing it. ]

I don't think we'll be that lucky, but if they did pull something like that it'd probably be because we pissed them off with all of this.

[ He snorted at that idea, not exactly against it, clearly. ]

As long as they're just steaming mad and not sending anything after us, I think that'll be a worthwhile exchange. It's not like this was written in the rules or anything, you know?

[Sayaka smirks a bit, oozing confidence that isn't forced for once.]

I'd personally love it if we could get a greenhouse around here...it'd probably be a bit of work to take care of, but...I don't know. Those plants would be something else that's alive around here, you know?

Wow, if they pulled crap like that then I'd really have to wonder what crawled up their asses and died.

[ His tone is totally jocular here because he's not expecting that to actually happen and causing shit always gets him into a good mood. ]

But yeah, I'm totally with you on the greenhouse part. Haven't seen so much as a plant in ages, you know? Maybe it wouldn't be too hard to take care of with more than one person handling it.

I completely agree with you.

[Still, Sayaka seems genuinely happy at the agreement. Practically bouncing on her heel a bit.]

Exactly! It's not like we'd be irresponsible with them or anything. Honestly, it might do everyone some good to have a plant or two around. They're very good listeners, for one--did you know that talking to them a bit is actually good for them? Mostly because what we breathe out is something that helps them grow.

[Nerding aside, though.] Honestly, it'd just make the place so much more vibrant! There'd probably be so many amazing flowers to take care of there...

[hesperos]

Really?

[ Huh.

Plus, if there's flowers...maybe it's not just taking care of them they can do with them. So a bunch of thoughts go through his head all at once with that. Hmm. ]

I guess if there's going to be flowers, we can use them for stuff too. If we wanted to, that is.

Like...flower arrangements, maybe? Or are you thinking something else, Yuri-san?

[She's here for whatever, honestly. Taking care of them, decorating, there's a lot, but color her curious.]

[ He's about to say something about honoring the dead but then...

His mind also suddenly thinks of photos and then last night's confession next. ]

[Eyebrow quirk. Awful vague there, but Sayaka's tone seems more concerned than teasing, or anything like that.]

I was thinking about some stuff.

[ Maybe he should talk about someone with this. He's bad at serious...relationship stuff. She's a friend and maybe she'd be good about this, but it seems like such an awkward transition.

For example, like honoring the dead.

Oh, like...flowers for the dead, right? ...Maybe we could find some pretty pink flowers for Estelle-san. She'd like those, wouldn't she?

[This is a good subject to think about.]

I have literally no clue what anyone else would like, but, yeah, anything pink with her would be good for her.

[ Mmmngh. Okay whatever let's just focus on this for now--it really isn't a bad idea to consider, anyway. ]

I think we could try to remember what colors that people seemed to favor, for picking out flowers...it's not like we can really ask them what they'd think, but they come in all sorts of different ones. We'll find something for everyone, okay?

[Sayaka beams a bit at that. She's certain they will, after all.]
