Week 7.

WEEK 7 Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you. Over half of you are gone now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 16

Yeah. I don't know what I felt, but...I don't know. It felt like everything just kind of swam away from my head, like I'd eaten something bad and passed out, maybe...?

I'm not sure there's a poison that can knock our someone for two years, but who knows. Maybe something like that happened?

...That's probably the closest thing I could think of. I just...I don't know how. I just assumed we all got kidnapped, but...

[Sayaka shudders.]

I...got this memory, before I got the one of my death. And I didn't remember it at all, while I was dying in Naegi-kun's bathroom...

[matchbreaker]

Well like I said, we lost our memories here. The whole situation you described where you died sounds similar to here. I can understand the confusion, but it doesn't seem impossible to me you'd have faulty memories back there.

[ She drums her fingers on the wall. ]

Still, that is odd.

[ Dying... she has to hold back some anger at that. ]

...I don't know if I could handle getting memories back of...whatever came before then...

[Really, that'd just drive her deeper into despair than she already is at the thought of all of this.]

I don't even know what could've happened.

[matchbreaker]

Why wouldn't you want those? A more complete picture's better, right?

...A more complete picture after I nearly killed everyone else out of selfishness.

[Sayaka states that much bluntly, with an undertone of 'Really?' in her voice. Let's just bring the guilt train up to 11, shall we]

Yes, why not? Memories are memories, and the complete picture can't be the cruelest thing.

I don't want to think that I very nearly killed people that I'd been friends with for years.

[Sayaka shakes her head rapidly at that.]

Might you back up, do you mean you caused this lock down?

...I don't actually know what caused it. I just know what...we were there, and fixing it up...

[she sadly does not remember the state of the outside world]

Then how do you mean you killed them? By taking initiative in that game you were in? Do you mean to say that lot was ... what, your classmates?

I meant that in the sense of...the rules of the game. I don't...they never actually told us how it runs, but...

If Kuwata-kun doesn't get found and they accuse Naegi-kun, then it's likely they're all going to die for it. And that's because I did something so horrid in the first place.

[matchbreaker]

[ . . . Huh.

She blows a small sigh from the lips, and then she reaches out to pat Sayaka on the head. And she says, ever so gently, ]

Please take this more as reassurance than insult, but you are not a criminal mastermind, Sayaka. If the lot here can find out the plots of Kimblee or Terumi, your room switching scheme would only fool an idiot.

[ So they probably survived. ]
