trustfell | Week 7.

WEEK 7
Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you.

Over half of you are gone now.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out.

[ Oh no, a heart... Aligula's pinching him, she loves this. ]

You're such a softie, Indomitable. Falling for me~?

Oh please! [ Her cheeks color, but her mood shifts at least visibly, with her intending to push Aligula away from her a little by way of pushing on the mask. ] As if that could happen!

[ She'll lean away, giggling softly. ]

Right, right~! It has about as much of a chance of happening as, like, the dead coming back to life, right?

[ She considers that only a moment before she bursts out laughing at it, still blushing, and still trying to mash on the girl's mask-face ]

The chances of me harboring some one-sided sapphic pining? Oh, I'm sure that's about as likely as the dead rising, sure!

[ GIIIRL PLEASE she's gonna shove Ditty right back in her face, how about that?? ]

Are you so sure it's one-sided~? [ ...Okay, that's a bit far for a joke, and Aligula hops off the couch to escape better. Still holding Ditty, still. ] Juuuust kidding! I'd be a bad girlfriend if I fell in love with anyone here...

[ ...Though. Ditty gets a squeeze. ]

Indomitable, I totally don't think you'd have the answer to this, buuut... How do you know when someone wants to break up with you? I'm usually the one doing that sort of thing, so I've never been on the receiving end.

[ And she gets the feeling that maybe, juuust maybe, her boyfriend might not want to be her boyfriend anymore. Even if it doesn't matter entirely, she just has to show him they're really, truly meant for each other, but... It's something that's been on her mind, off and on. ]

[ Of course it's one sided - well no, it doesn't exist, more like - Aligula has her boyfriend (who she... melted...) and she has her James (who's dead. Probably double dead soon). Elda thought they were playing around, but the reaction of the other woman was something she didn't see coming before the girl leapt up - she recoiled at bludgeoning Ditty and blinks her red eyes at the other.

Shouldn't the signs be obvious to you, then? That they avoid you, or try to start to say something and stop short? Perhaps that they've become more distant over time, or withdrawn?

Well, sure! If I had a normal relationship! But, you know, there was the whole mashing thing, and now I don't get to see him that often because he's locked up for, like, protection reasons? And when he isn't locked up, him and Hummer and off with that group of goody-two-shoes.

[ ...This is just something she's been thinking about, okay. ~~and you know what soon she'll be dead so that solves that problem right~~ ]

[ . . . Elda can't believe she's doing this. The situation she spells out really, truly isn't a relationship at all, but who is she to question it. She looks at Aligula's masked face and then snorts. ]

Normally, this is where I'd tell you to close your eyes, but truth told I'm still unclear on how you even see most of the time.

[ Okay, so instead, she's going to gently reach out to put her her hand over the mask, if allowed. ]

You'll never know, 'cause a woman never divulges her secrets. It's totally important to keep up the mystique.

[ ...but she'll let her, she's interested in seeing where this is going, at the very least. ]

Yes, yes, just like I'll never see you naked too.

[ She sighs and then keeps the hand there and then speaks softly. ]

I'd like you to close your eye and picture the man. Really focus on your last several conversations with him, specifically on the words he said.

[ ...The last several conversations have been her yelling for him and her and her truck getting punched.

Hm. ]

Mmmmmmmmmm, okay. [ Focus on that punch...... because she does have a thing about "whoever pushes hardest in love wins," so that's about as good as she's getting. ] What's next?

The man's facial expressions, if you can picture them. The words are the most important, of course, but body language can reveal a lot about his intent.

[ Sturdy and pumped up to the max, with Hummer hanging out the side to make sure it'll do the job... ]

Got it, got it! [ Some other twerp was there too, right? ...He was lanky and kind of good-looking, actually, but definitely nothing compared to her man... ] And I'm supposed to play detective now?

Yes, but there is actually one more step, and this one's the hardest. I want you to try to divorce this detective work from your own feelings for him. If you're doubting him, then you could be making it worse in your head, or you could be so into him you're missing more obvious hints. Both are possible.

That's not just the hardest, that's impossible! [ you're asking so much from her, Elda...... ]

I didn't say it'd be easy! It'd be hard for me too! But give it a try!

[ the hand presses a little more on the mask, and elda leans in now more, to like... climb onto Aligula? A little? ]

Ugggggghhhh.

[ ...why are you climbing on her, why this— she lifts her hands to stop her and... grabs her shoulders, that's a good point to grab. A deep breath, and a siiiiigh. Fine, fine, she'll try...

A soft frown. ]

What if I can't do it? [ or what if she doesn't like what she thinks. ]

[ Look there's nothing weird about basically straddling her in order to make sure the face is covered.

She... ]

Then you can't do it. But you did ask for my advice.

[ There's plenty weird, but that's fine, it's fine. Elda stripped for her, this is way more lowkey. ]

[ Not really, but. you know. it's whatever. ]

Oh you so did not even try.

[ She says that in a teasing tone, but then backs off, leaping off the other with a short laugh. ]
