Week 7.

WEEK 7

Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you.

Over half of you are gone now.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out.

PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 16

"But then out came a powerful, dangerous sort of bird. It was the familiar of the master of the house, and it was on fire. You might call this sort of thing... the Phoenix!"

[ Wow looks like it's Pharaoh but in story form. ]

"Oh shit, Bartlebee I think we're in for it now.

Basil gets the lovely idea of grabbing hold of another vase and tossing it at the Phoenix in an attempt to disorient and distract it!"

"Of course we are, Basil! Let's get going!"

[ And she's going to move their pieces to the stairs now, let's run upstairs! The bird she wiggles around down on the lower table. ]

"As they ascended the stairs in their hurry, they came upon the top floor. There's a hallway and a door for what seems to be another room. Basil then realized something.

Wait, weren't we supposed to head downstairs first to search for that treature?"

"Who cares about the treasure at this point?! We need to not get burned up!

... Bartlebee couldn't help but exclaim."

"I guess I shouldn't have broken that vase, huh? Hey, why not explore this other room while we're up here, then?

Basil began to head towards the other door."

"Sure shouldn't've! But yes, let's... do that!

Bartlebee still seemed to expect the bird to show up at any moment, he could still hear the flames. But for his part, he's going to follow Basil's lead. If they moved normally, then the bird might think they went elsewhere."

"Luckily for them, the bird didn't seem to be aware of their current location.

Basil fearlessly opened the door in front of them. It looks like they stumbled into a...fancy-looking room of some sort. Some guy's study. There was boring scrolls everywhere, but more importantly, there were a few closets in here. Basil suggested to his partner that they'd search through them for anything good."
