It's like I'm carrying the weight of the world
[ So, Yuri's going to be going around, putting up slips of paper for everyone to see, because even with everything that was that trial, he is sure it could help. He doesn't know--it's worked from time to time before anyway and someone should do it. ]

[ Yuri, for once, is going to be making some food for the afterparty that isn't desserts. On his side of things, his food is generally going to be geared towards something more western-style and hearty. In essence, there is some things of curry with beef, chicken, and vegetables in them, take your pick. Sayaka and Kyrie also will be assisting with food, providing stuff that is likely to be geared towards something asian.
This whole set up, of course, is going to be done in the dining hall, since that's where it usually is. ]

She ends up finding it eventually (if you pass by, you might see some hissing sparks), but also something else. Rin sits at Susan's desk for a while, a green ribbon in one hand, and a paper in the other. She's not really looking at it anymore though, so much as she is the autumn-colored salt crystal tree she gave Susan a couple weeks ago.]
I'm sorry I jinxed you.
[She hangs out in there a little while longer, thinking about the day's events and where to go to next. At some point she needs to talk to Hilda, and there's a few other things to look into... They have to solve this somehow; win this. First things first though, she should probably eat... After returning back to her room briefly to drop off the Old Goldie, Rin will join the afterparty proper.
Thus, you can find her in the dining hall! Specifically, she's by the candles. With Susan gone now, there's no one to draw them anymore, and originally she intends to try it but... No, she has a better idea. Sure, she drew Kirei's for him, but it looked a little stupid and she was fine with it looking stupid. Everyone else should have decent portraits though, so she knows precisely who to ask. She will, however, doodle on one candle, just the back of it. The design she carves into it looks a lot like Angel's tattoos.
Before the end of the night, however, she has an important job to do, and that's to distribute letters. Thusly, if you're not busy at the party or taking out your frustrations upstairs, you might catch Rin playing courier.
Everyone who Susan left a letter for (so everyone except Yuri, Luca, and Kyrie... and also Elda for Reasons®) will find it slipped discreetly under the door, if they don't catch her in the act. It's a private thing, which is why she's doing it when she expects people will be busy elsewhere. No need to know it was from her.]

...Thank you, Rin.
[He doesn't move to open the envelope, but he does hold it gingerly.]
no subject
You don't have to open it now, or anything. I wouldn't put that on you. I just wanted to make sure you got it.

[read: he's probably going to cry]
How... are you holding up right now?

...you really are a tender-hearted man.

Tohsaka-san? Is everything okay?
no subject
...dammit. Putting aside everyone's right to privacy with these letters, Sayaka was exactly one of people she didn't want to run into right now. Rin... frowns, then adjusts her expression into something more casual, pushing herself up.]
Mail service. [Her voice is a little brusque, but it becomes gentler when she's able to look Sayaka in the eye, though her expression might not match.] You'll understand when you open it.
no subject
...Of course. Thank you for this, Tohsaka-san.
[She'll go get that letter, then--she expects Rin to be on her way and not stick around, but she seems confused by the time she opens the letter and...takes...a look...
Oh. Oh, this is...
...Sayaka's probably gonna start to tear up in the hallway when she reads it, just...kind of struck by this. By the words Susan says, and just.]
...Ashworth-san...
no subject
...she just, very unfortunately, has eight letters to deliver, and Sayaka lives in Room #2. She was kinda, uh. The first stop. Second stop took Rin across the hall to Room #9, where she's trying to slip Susan's letter to Alex under her door.
SNEAK, SNEAK... DON'T MIND HER, SHE'S NOT HERE...]

I like the design there, it's very nice.

It is still a good attempt, I think. If they can see the candles on the other side, then I am sure she will be happy to see it.
no subject
That's a good question. I wonder what they can and can't see, actually.

I kind of like the more symbolic gestures, myself.
no subject
because I was about to tag you there when we hivemindedwhen Tarrlok comes along.]Hm? So you wouldn't want a portrait of yourself?
no subject
Well, I'm not sure if I'd go that far, but I think there's something kind of stylish about symbolic representations. We could see who still has Ms. Hori's camera and maybe use that, of course...
no subject
I think Sayaka was the last person who had it. It would be nice to take pictures with it that aren't dead things, admittedly.

...What do you mean by that?
[ The whole jinxing thing, he means. ]
no subject
...Yuri. It's you.
[I mean, obviously. But... She sets the letter down in her lap. Just give her a second.]
no subject
Yuri will lean against the door, expression kind of unreadable for a moment, as he's thinking here. ]
Yeah, it's me.
[ ... ]
You think you jinxed Susan? Is that why you're saying that?
no subject
I gave that to her. [...] It's just a silly thing. I know it didn't get her killed. But I remember thinking at the time that it would be a good luck charm. I liked seeing her around, so I told myself as long as she had that, she wouldn't disappear.
[Her smile widens a bit, and she closes her eyes.] My timing is always terrible.

She was sweet. [Rin inhales, brushing back a few flakes of the candle with a tight smile.] I'm not sure this is how she'd want to be remembered, actually. But we had fun comparing arms, so I don't think she hated her tattoos. I thought they suited her.

I knew they were using her for something. They built that bunker around treating her as a resource. [And then she was freed, just to end up in a place like this. Rin sighs.] If we'd gotten out of this place, she'd have been able to do anything she liked.
