Week 8.

WEEK 8 Regardless of what you think of the most recent deaths, four more people have died this week. Milla Maxwell, Angel, Susan Ashworth, and Aligula are gone now, leaving you with about a quarter of your original number. Thirty-five down to twelve - this can't keep going for much longer, can it? Is there anything you can do? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Unlike the previous weeks, however, it seems that either you've reached the end of the line or Jericho has decided to stop rewarding you for your effort; where there would usually be a stairwell to a new floor, you're met with nothing but solid wall. Perhaps it's distressing; perhaps it's a good sign. Only time will tell, and time isn't something you have a lot of around here. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 12

I mean, I think returning is technically an option for me. I'll just be arrested, probably.

...Personally, I would still label that as "not an option", then. Surviving this shit for months, only to rot in jail afterword? Not my idea of a good time.

You know, I definitely get what you're saying. It feels like a continuation of basically everything I did wrong not to take responsibility, though... personally, I mean.

[he is past the point of caring what anyone else does, honestly.]

[His tone begins with a bite there, but quickly dies off as he sighs.]

...Maybe not. I've actually had some positive experiences here.

If it wasn't for all the murder and psychological trauma, it'd be a great way to meet people.

I...hate to admit it, but perhaps Aligula was onto something with that.

[And he really, really hates to admit it because he told her it was stupid to her face.]

...I do think it's a terrible place to meet people in the sense that she probably intended it, but yes.

Well, obviously. We all know how terrible her priorities were. She was certainly adamant about us getting to know one another, though... I suppose that wasn't so bad, with the knowledge that months later, we're still stuck in this.

That idea was sound, at the very least. If only she could have maintained a pattern of having decent ideas instead of ideas like murder scavenger hunts.

I told her that her parties were growing stale, but I... Well, I suppose I should have expected that her definition of a step up would be...that.
