Week 8.
Regardless of what you think of the most recent deaths, four more people have died this week. Milla Maxwell, Angel, Susan Ashworth, and Aligula are gone now, leaving you with about a quarter of your original number. Thirty-five down to twelve - this can't keep going for much longer, can it? Is there anything you can do? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Unlike the previous weeks, however, it seems that either you've reached the end of the line or Jericho has decided to stop rewarding you for your effort; where there would usually be a stairwell to a new floor, you're met with nothing but solid wall. Perhaps it's distressing; perhaps it's a good sign. Only time will tell, and time isn't something you have a lot of around here. |

[OOC: Welcome to week eight of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]

That requires venturing to the bar, and I am not in the mood for getting caught in a conversation with anyone who happens to be around. What is the juice?

no subject
[Something like fresh juice would probably be better for him right now anyway.]
no subject
[She says that like it's a science project, but the juice is actually hella good I swear. She's ducking into the fridge to get that now!
Even if she acts this is just a test, too, mostly she's trying to get his mind off things. Cheer him up, even if it's just with a nice meal.]

[He's making an attempt at a joke, so that's probably a good sign that Rin's efforts are garnering some success.]
no subject
If you play along, you'll get a silly straw~
no subject
Oh, now that would certainly make any potential ill effects worth it.
no subject
AHA, SHE FOUND ONE. Rin waves it triumphantly.]
Got one!
no subject
There actually was one in there? I suppose the Coordinators have their priorities in order.
no subject
It's all yours if you want it. [A smile is a victory in her books, so Rin looks proud of herself.] I'll have some juice with you, of course, to prove how confident in it I am.
[And you know, that it's not poisoned.]
no subject
You now what? Sure. Let's have some, then.
[He's already going to have a sandwich of Rin's, so he's not concerned about poison at this point. But he doesn't seem as opposed to the company anymore.]
no subject
That's more like it.
[Getting the cups, Rin pours out a glass, a silly straw for Rideaux and all. She's not sure why she's being so nice to him. This is the guy who blithely told her she could check the incinerator, after all.
But everyone can use a break on an off day, you know. And this is the kind of stupid thing for the memory books.]
no subject
When Rin hands him the glass, he raises it toward her as a silent "cheers", then has a sip out of that silly straw.]
...Huh. [That's not a bad "huh". He just hasn't tasted anything quite like it before.] It's good.
