Week 8.

WEEK 8 Regardless of what you think of the most recent deaths, four more people have died this week. Milla Maxwell, Angel, Susan Ashworth, and Aligula are gone now, leaving you with about a quarter of your original number. Thirty-five down to twelve - this can't keep going for much longer, can it? Is there anything you can do? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Unlike the previous weeks, however, it seems that either you've reached the end of the line or Jericho has decided to stop rewarding you for your effort; where there would usually be a stairwell to a new floor, you're met with nothing but solid wall. Perhaps it's distressing; perhaps it's a good sign. Only time will tell, and time isn't something you have a lot of around here. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 12

So...what you're saying is that they'd end up becoming akin to those small flying ships in the novels around here?

[Spaceships, basically. But without the space.]

That's what the books seems to think back in the day.

Perhaps they do exist in one of the worlds represented among us. Though, it may be difficult to tell now...

[With so few of them still around on the living side.]

Mmm, maybe. I wonder who would have that. No one's seemed all that scifi.

Hmm. You know, I would guess Angel's world first. No real reason, just a hunch.

... Oh right, she was an alien and had a machine in her head, didn't she? I bet they have them, now I think of it.

[evilfrenzy]

[Okay so he's not going to refute the machine thing, but-]

Technically, most of us could be considered alien to one another. I'd never heard of Earth before, for example.

[matchbreaker]

-Wait, you haven't? But I thought you were human.

[ ERRR ]

[evilfrenzy]

[He tips his head a little, squinting at the logic here.]

I am. But while Earth seems to be a common world of origin here, I am not from it.

[matchbreaker]

Well yes, me too, but shouldn't a human be from there? Or some kinda other there?

[ Dimensions and all?? ]

[evilfrenzy]

I don't know? Obviously my world and Earth share similarities, but many more differences. I couldn't even say if Earth is an alternate version of my world.

[He's taking this one step at a time. He may have hopped dimensions all the time, but it was usually still his world he was in. Worlds outside his own...that's been something to get used to.]

Honestly, the only world that seems to be closest to mine in terms of similarities is Yuri and Estelle's.
