WEEK 6 You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 19

Yeah? Not going to lose your inspecting license for it? That guy some sort of criminal?

More or less, yes. It happened years ago; most people on the force are already aware of it.

But it would cause a big problem for you, wouldn't it?

[matchbreaker]

You mean mine? No, we'll be able to handle it. My Henry is a little slouch, but he's no incompetent. We'll have to erase the memories of everyone in Shihaba, but that's doable.

[ Mostly. ]

....Well, at least neither of us are in much danger from our secrets.

[He honestly has no reason to disbelieve that she could make everyone forget she's a vampire.]

[matchbreaker]

Yes...

If anything, I remembered a more dangerous one this week- no... I suppose I remembered the outcome.

[perpend]

...Strange, what they choose to call our deepest secrets, isn't it?

[matchbreaker]

Though I suppose this new one is not quite mine to tell.

[perpend]

Maybe that's the distinction? It doesn't seem like our secrets collectively share anything in common-- some of them have absolutely no gravity at all.

[Like Aligula being a virgin. Who the hell even cares!]

[matchbreaker]

Such as Hibiki and Aligula, yes. [ She taps it a few times. ] In Hibiki's case, that's likely that she has nothing more shameful to share... or that the secret might lower her standing in her job. She is one of those idols, and it is a competitive business.

In Aligula's case...? It might well be she has nothing else to consider secret, with how open the woman is about morbid things.

[perpend]

...That's possible.

She seems like a poor choice of a person to hold against her will, doesn't she? If she's really so short of secrets.

[matchbreaker]

I mean, if you put it that way, about a quarter of the people here qualify.

[ Just saying. ]

...It makes this all the more terrible.

[matchbreaker]

It really does.

[ A soft exhale, and the woman... ]

The fact is, all of this was vile in the first place, but ... well, they go on about bad people and how we're at two of four now, but was all this necessary to net them?
