WEEK 6.
You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. |

[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with

[Considering someone just died by breaking that rule not even a week ago, that joke is kind of in poor taste.
As for the topic of yesterday...hm. Rideaux is quiet for a moment as he considers it.]
It is a combination of things, to be completely honest. But yes, that is at the forefront. [...] Seems like they follow their employee handbook to the letter.
[Weirdly, he gets that? Spirius's rules are strict as hell, with punishments just as bad. But he still feels conflicted about it for a reason he can't quite pinpoint.]
no subject
[ If it weren't for someone breaking that rule, Yuri might've said more than that. This place sure is fun like that--and routinely adds to his usual dislikes of stringent rules. Then again these ones are more strict and unreasonable than rules he's seen while in the Knights, so.
... Well, anyway, he figures it might have been more than one thing as well, but one thing at a time. ]
They sure do. Though if you ask me, I think I'd like to rip up that employee handbook of theirs and throw whatever's left into the trash. I didn't like that Weiss died for nothing, but I don't think it should've been solved like that -- with Alena, anyway. They're gonna keep saying it's all her fault of 'course. They needed a good scapegoat and got one.
[ At least the Don didn't pass on all the blame when shit hit the fan. Whatever, he's tempted to kick over a chair but that'd solve a big lot of nothing. ]
no subject
[They could discuss the Coordinators' special set of rules for ages, but...]
Here is what I would like to know: what the hell was Weiss even doing if it wasn't a rule breach, anyway?
no subject
Yeah, I wonder what the hell's up with him. Maybe he has sight problems or something.
[ ... ]
I'd like to know that too--plus kind of why she was even trying to do what she was doing without telling anybody. She seemed to think it was important enough to try anyway.
no subject
[Sounds like Rideaux puts some of the blame on Weiss herself, if only because he will never know what she was actually doing.]
no subject
Probably not to get killed, at least. Maybe she thought as long as she wasn't breaking a rule, she'd be safe. She did put a little too much faith in that, if that was the case, but whatever. I guess it's done right now, and if they didn't seem to have an idea of what she was doing, we're probably not gonna find out now.
[ He looks over at the stuff Rideaux has placed into neat piles. ]
That going to be all you need?
no subject
[It'll nag at those who are left wondering, sure, but unless she did tell someone and they just haven't said anything, it'll be something Weiss took with her to the grave. Not much to be done about it.
He nods to answer the question of supplies.]
Yes, this should be good for now. [He motions to a pile for Yuri to take.] Shall we?
no subject
[ Yuri picks up the pile with an exaggerated 'heave ho!', and then he'll take a few steps, before stopping to peer over at the other man to see if he was ready to go. ]
So, seeing as you're gonna paint stuff, I'm guessing you did that kind of stuff back at your home too in your free time?
[ Or is that something he recently picked up to add to having something to do here, he wonders? ]
no subject
Rideaux isn't far behind him though, catching up pretty quickly once he stops.]
Yes and no? I enjoy interior design, but I don't often make the accents. I go out and buy them. I usually hire someone to do any painting as well.
[Because he doesn't have time for that, okay? He is a very busy man. It's obviously a completely different situation here, though.]
no subject
Huh. That does sound like a thing you'd do.
[ Despite the fact that he's holding materials here, his steps are easy like it's no problem. It kind of reminds him of when he'd help around doing miscellaneous stuff in the Lower Quarter for some of the people there.
It probably doesn't take them long to reach Rideaux's room! ]
Annnnd looks like we're here! I'll just wait for you to open the door or something if it's locked.
no subject
[He's big into customizing whatever he can. Especially here. Making his room a little more like...well, his, is a decent way to make the situation a little more bearable.
When they get to Rideaux's room, he fumbles for his key in his pocket. While he tries to be as graceful as possible in all situations, this is definitely one that he is failing at. He almost drops some stuff in the process. But he eventually gets the door open and backs up to let Yuri in first.]
You can put the pile on my desk.
[The interior isn't entirely different than the last time Yuri saw it, but there are a bunch of fabrics on Rideaux's bed for when he continues decorating.]
no subject
He takes a gander around the room and a closer look at the fabrics. ]
Wow, you're really about to go all out here, aren't you?
[ And here he thought there was only going to be some painting going on (which already was a lot in his opinion.) He actually sounds a little impressed at the effort he's going to make here? Most people wouldn't go through such lengths, even with so much time on their hands. ]
no subject
[Rideaux closes the door behind him and adds his pile to the...well, pile, on the desk.]
We've already been here for at least a month, so I figured I may as well go the distance and attempt to make this room feel like mine as much as possible.
no subject
True, but I still don't think I'd be able to go through the same trouble you are. Well, I guess everyone does have their preferences and it is something to do.
no subject
And what do you typically choose to fill your time with?
[Granted, this obviously isn't typical for him, but he finds himself curious about any alternative activities Yuri's come up with.]
no subject
[ That's most of it, anyway. There's also 'spending some time in between wondering how to make the Coordinators' lives a living hell' but eh. ]
I haven't really come up with anything inventive or anything extra. But I guess I can always add something new to the list from time to time.
[ He picks up one of the brushes. ]
no subject
[...is he saying he would be up for a game, then?
That aside, he crosses his arms curiously as he watches Yuri pick up the brush.]
Don't tell me you want to put something on my wall.
no subject
I hadn't gotten the chance to rope you into one yet. That could change today if I can drag you out of the room before or after the make-over in here happens.
[ ... He grins a little. ]
You got me. I was thinking of painting 'Yuri Lowell was here' on one of the walls.
[ No he wasn't. ]
no subject
[He's not joking when he said he is up for most distractions. Besides, he's pretty interested in finding out what kinds of games Yuri plays. Card games, maybe? Hmm, darts or billiards would be nice.
But those thoughts get shoved to the side fairly quickly by the next bit. Wow. Unimpressed, he puts his hands on his hips.]
If you're going to try to tag my room, at least make it something interesting.
[??? He's giving permission...?!]
no subject
[ Maybe even a little game of hide-and-seek. Jokes aside, he was already considering a few games, but now he figures anything will do just fine, so now it's a matter of settling on one. Or they could just hop into one of those rooms and then go from there... ]
Wow, really? Looks like I need to come up with something new, then.
[ ... At first that was honestly just a joke, but since he's being given permission here, he might as well. He at first looks a little thoughtful, and then he finally settles on something. ]
... I think I got something. Trust me, it's something 'interesting'.
no subject
Well, I do plan to paint the walls, so you can either wait until after I've finished, or... [He glances around. It'd be kind of annoying to have just one spot breaking any pattern he decides to come up with, so...his gaze settles on the back of his door. He motions to it.] Do it here?
no subject
Yeah, I'll do it right here. I guess I'll just use red paint because with black paint you might miss it, you know?
[ He has a grin on his face now. ]
no subject
Oh, certainly. Please, make it as noticeable as possible.
no subject
On it.
[ He dips the brush into the red paint enthusiastically! ]
no subject
While Yuri plays with the paint, Rideaux heads over to the fabrics to start sorting through them. His back is to the door, so Yuri is free to surprise him with whatever tag he comes up with.]
