WEEK 6.

WEEK 6

You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward.

It seems like there's no end in sight.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself.

The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well.

These ones, yes. I believe Susan is working on more. It... Well, it does not change our situation, but it seems to me as though it helps regardless.

[She ducks her head a bit, though, humble.]

That is kind of you to say, though.

[That woman can paint? Is there something she can't do?]

Why, don't be surprised about it! Effort deserves to be praised. I know if I did something that requires a lot of effort, such as this, I'd want a word of acknowledgement, at least.

[That wasn't...surprise, Kyrie. Oh well]

It’s kind all the same. After all, doing something like this helps me as well... So hearing that it’s appreciated by others is even lovelier.

I don't know, it seems to me you have been handling the situation quite well. You seem to have a lot of fortitude, as expected of a princess. To have survived up to this point...it's no small feat, I think.

[You know, like many other teenagers so far have died. Sucks to be them, but you are alive and that much is worth praising too]

[She pauses for a moment, as though surprised by the praise, and then ducks her head with a small smile.]

...It makes me glad that you think so. You have always seemed remarkably well put together to me as well. That is, the same could certainly be said of you.

I don't think it's that impressive in my case. That's just how I was raised to be. The head of the clan has to be dignified, somewhat intimidating, and be prepared to deal with difficult people. Even if I left them, that doesn't change how I grew.

I suppose I should be grateful to them for raising me that way.

[A small pause.]

In terms of upbringing, mine was similar, but that does not negate the compliment that either of us have given the other.
