WEEK 6 You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 19

I guess that sounds nice? I don't really eat out all that much at home...it's not like I've got that much extra money.

But I can make some regular waffles?

If we get out of here, maybe I'll take you there. You'd think it'd get boring, with chicken being the only thing on the menu, but it's always been a favorite spot.

.....that would be nice. I could stand to get out more, I think. I'm not even sure what's in the neighborhood anymore that I could take you to.

That's all right. Anything is fine with me, as long as it's not anywhere near here.

There must be a way to return to our worlds, after all. We were brought here to begin with.

Yeah. If we could just get back where they were, I'm sure we could figure something out. And Rideaux thinks that somebody from his world could help us, too, if they could find us.

It's really just a matter of beating the Coordinators first.

...It is. There must be a way to Jericho. Maybe it's even through Alena's office.

It was a little funny that he didn't come check on her, don't you think? When Weiss died. He sounded...I don't know, maybe worried? About her readings...I wonder how he was tracking her vitals?

Maybe he actually can't come here for some reason.

Maybe she's wearing something that keeps a reading on her heart rate and other things? Like those machines hospitals use, but portable.

[He'd say a Fitbit, but he's from 2010 so those aren't really a thing yet.]

Why, though? She ought to be in contact with him - unless he thinks we'd somehow manage to actually kill her.

He's obviously in this building-- but maybe he's cut off from her, not able to easily come here.

It's strange, though. He sounded actually concerned about her; that's not something I thought he'd be capable of.

He never has seemed to care much about her. And, to be fair, you can't really tell if she cares about him, either. I don't know if people like that can really have friends.

I doubt it.

This-- whatever this is supposed to be-- is rather cutthroat. They'd probably sooner throw each other under the bus, which makes his concern for her all the stranger.

I'd imagine you can only work with people for so long before you start getting...used to having them, even if you tell yourself you don't care for them. Unless you're a sociopath or something. Which doesn't seem entirely out of the question.

...I can't imagine they're anything but, to be honest.

Lots of people do awful things who aren't really. But I could see it.

...You do have a point. It's probably not entirely wise to think too hard about our captors. It's not like it's going to do any good.
