WEEK 6.

WEEK 6

You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward.

It seems like there's no end in sight.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself.

The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well.

Ah-- so you're saying they may very well be from another dimension.

[As she spoke it became clear that Milla knew what she was talking about. It hadn't occurred to her but as the woman spoke it began to make more and more sense.]

...yes, it's true that's quite possible. I have encountered such a thing in my world. If only we could speak with them. We may be able to see whether or not they truly diverge from the ones we know in our memories.

[Even so this... this is hope for her.]

That's a bit too tall of an order, unfortunately, but in general I'm glad to hear you understood me. [Kyrie sighs] If only everyone else realized it...not that it'll be much better if nobody dies. We know what'll happen if nobody dies.

[Random deaths aren't much better]

Yes, I am familiar with the concept. I have seen it myself-- worlds that seem identical but have diverged in a different path from my own. I cannot deny the possibility and I sincerely hope that it is true. But you're right. I doubt they will show us any leniency.

[At least Milla seems to be a little bit better. Encouraged, Kyrie asks:]

But I should ask for your opinion: do you believe your hostage will fare well? I'm curious about what kind of person they got for you.

[What kind of person does someone like Milla consider important? Must be an interesting person, she figures]

[Even as a hypothetical it's not the more comforting thing to think about, but it is something they should consider.]

Jude is a strong person. But he would never hurt someone for his own benefit. For others... perhaps. However, he would be far more interested in helping everyone in whatever way he can. He is... a kind soul.

At the very least if something went wrong, he'd be useful to them as a doctor I'm sure. And he's smart. He'd fare a lot better in their trials than most, I'd think.

So he'd be like a combination of our detective and Tarrlok-san...that doesn't sound bad. He'll be useful for everyone.

Yes, I think so as well. He works himself a little too hard at times, but I'm sure he wouldn't be alone.

It's a bit curious that in general the other group will fare better than us. They sounds better prepared and more willing to get along.

Of those still with us I think we fare well as a group. We can't be sure they are the only individuals they would use either, however.

We are a rather dysfunctional group. I almost feel bad for those who try their best to keep us united...but at the same time it's admirable they try in the first place.

That's true. We are all very different. Even so, I don't think it's impossible. I'd like to see it, in truth.

I suppose we'll reach the point where we'll tolerate each other enough to not fall for any kind of motive.

[And then we'll all die because we'll get killed randomly. It's like there's no way we can win, eh?]
