WEEK 6.

WEEK 6

You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward.

It seems like there's no end in sight.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself.

The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well.

Uh... do you want to? It's probably nicer than where I come from.

I suppose I could.

[She really doesn't mind at all. In fact, she loves giving information.]

There's a substance called Aer that our world needs to survive. [Aer sounds exactly like 'air' so that's... great...] Our technology uses it to work as well as some advanced weapons. The same goes for magic in my world. People have equipped a stone called a 'Blastia' to fight. It helps enhance our defense, offense, and also makes us faster. Also, if we have one equipped, theoretically we're able to use magic. However, simply having one equipped doesn't mean magic can be immediately cast-- one still needs to be able to study spells and the formulas necessary to cast.

[A breath.]

Formulas are where I need to be to explain my situation. I'm a Child of the Full Moon, and somehow that means my race is capable of using healing magic without a Blastia and I tap into the Aer itself without a spell or anything of the like. As a result, I was one of the things causing a severe imbalance of Aer and needed to be gotten rid of or else my world would perish. My best friend, Rita, was able to reformulate the code in my body so I was using my own life force for a time, so if I needed to cast, I wasn't hurting the world. Then, after Undine was born, she came into my body and started to control that formula. I imagine I'm using her Mana now to cast spells. From my dreams, it seems like we're trying to find a way to convert Aer into Mana so restabilize our world.

Wow, that's... I'm glad you're getting things figured out. It's funny, you know I actually have no idea where my powers come from, back home. No one does.
