WEEK 6 You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward. It seems like there's no end in sight. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself. The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 19

[The hamster on the label sure looks happy, though! That's important. She almost wants to pick Trivial Pursuit just because it seems like the game Rin would like most but not even Hibiki is that masochistic.

...Actually, playing any game with skill could be a death trap. Rin seems like the kind of girl who plays eight different kinds of chess. Are there different kinds of chess? Don't tell her.]

Let's play this one! [She pulls out Candyland from the stack.] I've never heard of this one before, but it looks fun.

It looks like a diabetic wonderland, right? [Regarding the cover art there, which she laughs at as it's set aside.] Even I wouldn't be able to walk through such a place unscathed; I'd definitely give in to temptation and have a bite along the way.

[And getting a look at the cute playing pieces:] Ah, how cute! They're little gingerbread men.

I guess ya could call it that! [It's so cynical she can't help but laugh nervously.] Hmm...but don't ya think bugs would just land in everythin'? Or do you think bugs are made of candy, too? Like little rock candy beetles.

[Her expression briefly reads as "aww, cute" as she looks for a place to put the board. She eventually decides to put it on her bed. The sheets are clean and the mattress isn't very fluffy, so they should be able to play a game sitting there if they don't bounce around too much.]

Have you played it before, Rin?

No, this will be my first time, but the directions look simple.

[She's reading them on the back of the box. Ah, they're moving to the bed then? Rin will claim the spot at the foot then, folding her legs beneath her. She's calling the red piece, of course, setting that on the board.]

Hey, see all the characters on the board? They look like they're made of candy, too. Maybe the bugs and even the animals are as well, if that's the case.

[Hibiki sits cross-legged near the pillows, then!]

That'd be a nice world to live in. Probably a nicer one than whatever it looks like outside of the buildin'.

[She's spoken about it with Tarrlok, and the more she thinks about it, the easier it is to just assume this entire world is gross.]

I'll be this one, okay? [Unsurprisingly, she picks the blue gingerbread kid. After a second, she grabs the red one, too, and sets them both at start.] I think alligators would be made of watermelon icing and fondant...with white chocolate teeth.

[Rin nods. Blue suits Hibiki, of course!] So would dogs and cats have fur made out of cotton candy?

Poodles definitely would! Same with Maine Coons and all the fluffy longhair cats. But can't ya just picture a gummy terrier, or...or a dachshund whose body is a long candy bar?

Or a gummy grizzly bear!

That'd be so cute! I'd ride one everywhere! A-and maybe I'd just take a tiny bite, but Kumako wouldn't mind!

[She's already named her bear. Help us all.]

I wonder what food is even made out of in this world. Maybe sugar takes the place of protein.

[Hehe. And oh, looks like you just use these cards to decide how to move? Rin shuffles them.]
