WEEK 6.

WEEK 6

You've lost a lot of people this week, haven't you? Katniss Everdeen and Weiss Schnee were killed for rule violations, while Chie Hori and Frank Archer were murdered by Mikoto Suoh and Yuuki Terumi. It doesn't really matter how they died, though, does it? After all, they're dead now and the only thing you can do is keep moving forward.

It seems like there's no end in sight.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Changes were promised to you this week; while Sunday dawns seeming no different from the previous weeks, it seems one change is going to remain a constant - namely, a new floor has been opened up to you. Whether this is a promising sign or not is something that you're going to need to decide for yourself.

The important thing, for now, is that you continue to do well.

PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 19

[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena Hilda!]

That's still some match of death, girl.

[ :T ]

The Servants here, they're... those heroes and gods, and then you kill each other to get the Jesus cup?
heritrix: (look here)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-27 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
[Rin frowns a bit at "Jesus cup", like that's not quite right, but doesn't correct her. It's apparently close enough.]

Until the last Master and Servant pair are left standing, yes. But unlike this scenario, each of us are willing participants. It's impossible to summon a Servant that doesn't answer the Grail's call.
matchbreaker: (wait that's the wrong lyrics)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-27 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
... So why are we fighting over it all? Immortality or something?

[ I mean, it is the Jesus cup. ]
heritrix: (and I know you feel it)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-27 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
It's not the cup most are after, but the mana reservoir inside of it. Essentially, the Holy Grail has the power to grant any wish.

Oh.... Oh. Okay, so it's like a magic pool in there? I guess that makes sense. So you summon a bunch of dead guys who want to resolve their regrets, you guys all have some sort of ambition, you kill each other until one wish remains.

[ ... So fourteen people walk in (seven fake) and then you do it until the end there? That's probably a small price for a wish, isn't it? She glances at the painting of the girl... huh. ]
heritrix: (say what?)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-29 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, you followed that really well.

[It's like you were on the second route, so you could scene skip the tutorial.]

But that's the general premise, yes.
matchbreaker: (LOCK IT)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-29 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
I did, but that sounds completely insane.
heritrix: (could it be?)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-10-29 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
I'd expect that response from anyone else. There are even mages who would balk, but I grew up around the concept, so my opinion isn't the standard one.

The Tohsaka have sought the Grail for centuries, so it's natural I'd fight.
matchbreaker: (While u sleep)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-29 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[ for... centu-- wait-- wait ]

And they ain't won it yet, or everyone's just bad at wishing?
heritrix: (whatever you say)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-11-02 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
The past four Holy Grail Wars have had no winner. Either every participant was killed before one could reach it, or the Grail itself was destroyed.

Well, if someone had won it anyways, I wouldn't be participating now.
matchbreaker: (She-Hulk!)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-11-02 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
There can only be one winner ever?
heritrix: (whistle)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-11-02 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
...Mm, I wouldn't say there can only be one winner, but there can only be one prize. If someone ever seizes the Grail and makes a wish, I'm sure the Holy Grail Wars would finally end.
matchbreaker: (Storm King's Thunder)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-11-02 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
[ Huh, that's... interesting, actually. Interesting, but super morbid, because that means - holy shit, her father and other relatives all died in failure, if her family linage is for it.

She glances at the painting and then runs a hand through her hair. ]

... Well, here's hoping you resolve that tomfoolery.
heritrix: (two)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-11-02 08:45 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not worried about it.

[It doesn't sound like she's lying. Not about that.

The man in the painting though, that's another matter entirely. Rin's eyes linger on it a bit, before she adjusts her grip and rounds another landing.]

Anyways, I should get this to my room.
matchbreaker: (The Vision)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-11-02 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, wouldn't want you to get murdered out here in the middle of then night.

[ it's only Monday though, so probably not? All the same, Elda waves her hand to dismissive Rin to bring the painting back down. ]
heritrix: (delightful)

[personal profile] heritrix 2017-11-02 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
[Pfft.] It's not that late, and I'm not so weak it would take me that long.

[Still, she'll wave back and go. See you later, Elda.]
