Week 7.
Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you. Over half of you are gone now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week seven of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]

Those words are ringing in her head as she wakes up, but it’s a shadow of the freshly remembered physical pain that sticks with her first. The scratches on her face and forehead, the wound on her shoulder, and the agony of pressure on her ribs so fierce that they must have broken. She curls in on herself as she remembers it, but then - the rest falls in, like pieces of a puzzle. As it registers, she brings a hand up to her mouth in shock. That isn’t... That’s not how it was supposed to end. That’s what she keeps thinking as the horror settles in further, as the reality of the situation dawns on her. That isn’t right. The first sob comes out without her realizing she’s crying, and more are quick to follow.
For the past six weeks, no matter what she has remembered, Adelina has risen at a normal hour and left her room to make breakfast and socialize with the others. This Sunday, she doesn’t leave her room at all.]
Adelina's Room
It takes a bit, but...Sayaka will knock on Adelina's door, having a plate of breakfast prepared for her. She's done so much, but if something's happened...well, it's time to give back, right?]

For a few moments, she hesitates, but then the door opens. She looks - devastated, honestly. Her eyes are red and when she speaks, her voice is hoarse. She doesn't even notice the food yet.]
Yes?
no subject
Sayaka pauses for a second, eyes widening--what could have possibly happened? She'll...hold the plate up, but she can't quite wipe the look of shock off her face.]
...I brought you something to eat, Adelina-san. Are you...are you going to be okay?
no subject
Thank you.
[Then there comes another pause, a breath and a swallow, trying to wipe away the thickness in her throat.]
I don't know. I... No, I will be.
[Just not right now.]
no subject
[...Sayaka tilts her head a bit, smiling.]
I'll...leave you be, if you'd like. But...if you need an open ear, I can offer that to you as well. I have faith in you, but...you shouldn't bear this weight alone.
no subject
...Do you want to come in?
no subject
[She wants to make sure Adelina is absolutely comfortable with this, after all.]
no subject
[But she moves back from the door anyways to give Sayaka room to enter.]

... So she didn't notice Adelina isn't out yet other than the passing curiosity that she didn't see her yet? So it's mid-afternoon when she's knocking on the girl's door ( while wearing this shit ) and loudly calling: ]
Hey, did you have any dead people's keys? I forgot.
no subject
No.
[It’s a short answer, with nothing else to it.]

[ . . .
. . .
That felt weird?
Oh well, well, she'll just be off?
... No, that still feels weird.
... She'll come back in a bit with something else, she decides? Yeah, that makes more sense. ]

Elda's in here with a smile, knocking again, hoping the door will open a little. ]

Who is it?
no subject
I come bringing gifts.

It is a few more moments, perhaps just long enough to think she won't answer at all, before the door swings open. She looks... different, to say the least. Where there has always been a composure and a quiet strength to her demeanor, now she seems tired and withdrawn. Her eyes are red and she looks towards the ground, unable to look at the woman herself. Her voice is even hoarse when she speaks.]

Well, since she's in the dorms anyways, it can't hurt to check. Finding her way to Adelina's room Rin raps at the door, not really expecting a response.]
no subject
Who is it?
no subject
It's Rin. [Hmm.] Are you not feeling well? You sound ill.
no subject
[There's another pause, though.]
Do you want to come in?
no subject
[Adelina has frequently made the gesture on Rin's behalf, even when it wasn't wanted. Always courteous. It wouldn't sit well in Rin's gut, if she didn't do the same.]
no subject
Thank you.
[For her concern, that is.]
no subject
[Look she will go beat a fucker up if she has to.]
no subject
[So a memory, then, more likely than not.]
