Week 7.
Orihime Inoue, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, and Kirei Kotomine all died this past week. One of your Coordinators died as well, leaving you with a new face but still no end to this. Several of you are finding yourselves at a crossroads: either keep moving forward, or accept the inevitability of fate. It's your own choice, your own decision; no one's going to make it for you. Over half of you are gone now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Once again, a new floor has been opened to you; unfortunately, either this is a particularly strange reward or Jericho is starting to get downright sarcastic. Perhaps there's something in it for you despite the setup; who knows, though there's really only one way to find out. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week seven of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]
VERY SHORT INVESTIGATION QUESTION -- AT THE END OF THE POST
She had correctly predicted her own actions. No surprise there at all. She aimed for the money, and started doing everything she could to get it. Her sharp mind made a quick plan that'd lead to her and Rudolf having it. Rudolf agreed to cooperate.
What she didn't expect...was that she was nonchalantly putting Battler's life at risk. She threatened Rudolf that, if Battler wasn't fooled by the excuses he'd say, they'd have to get rid of him. Of course Rudolf didn't like that. Knowing him, he'd find a way to keep Battler safe.
The problem was that she was threatening Battler. What was she doing? That was her son! Did she not know or something? What was going on with that? And more importantly:
Did she kill Battler?
Breakfast making
Despite how worried and confused she is, Kyrie is hiding it very well. She's working on the breakfast all by herself, but she's only one woman making breakfast for sixteen people]
Do you have any cooking skills? I think I'm biting more than I can chew.
[New Library
This is strange. A much larger library, with no language they can read? Maybe they can read it! That's why Kyrie takes a few books to the library they received during the second week, and starts looking into dictionaries and the such to try to pinpoint the language.
No progress at all. Still, this is suspicious and important]
Looks like that library's existence will be important. If I had to guess, the library we're at right now was specifically made for us, while the library that opened this week has always existed here. If we can find out what kind of books are there, we should be able to have a clue about this world.
[Could she be lucky enough to find a clue while she's taking books? Like anything falling from a book, or finding something behind them?]

I'm guessing you need help?
[ Because if so, he'll lend a hand. ]

...You know, I had no idea anyone was making breakfast for everyone until what you told me yesterday.

[Sigh]
This place wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't murder. It does seem to have enough entertainment for an extended stay.

Library 2
Have you had any luck in reading these, Ushiromiya-san? I can't make heads or tails of any of this...
no subject
[Leave it up to Kyrie to question the mechanics of this place]

That's something that Sayaka never considered, what the hell.]
...That is so strange, now that I think of it? That most of us can understand the other. I mean, it makes sense for some of us, but...you don't think they messed with our heads, do you? More than just our memories.
[SHE JUST ACCEPTED THIS AS GOSPEL WHAT THE HELL]
no subject
...those are words I never thought I'd say.

[She sighs, audibly.]
What do you mean, though? Don't you have witches at home, Ushiromiya-san?
no subject
[She doesn't mention how it seems the witch wasn't as...magical as she had thought]

But yeah, the stepladder seems like a good choice. Kyrie takes one, puts it against the shelf -- some distance away from what she saw -- and gets up.
What kind of animal is it? Is it really an animal?]

breakfast making
[Rideaux honestly doesn't see the point in making breakfast for everyone, if that's what this is about. So he's giving Kyrie a rather incredulous look.]
no subject
[Psh, where's your sense of empathy and camaraderie, Rideaux?]
no subject
[What are empathy and camaraderie? Can you eat them?]
no subject
[Is it really a good thing she feels comfortable joking about this with Rideaux? Maybe not]
no subject
How reassuring. Is your cooking supposed to be to die for, or something? [Pun...intended...] I have declined in the past.
no subject
Trying something new and unexpected is a good way to keep your life interesting.
[She takes the pan out of the fire, having salvaged it. At least it looks good]
